How many people dream of being an astronaut, circling the Earth and being able to witness absolute beauty as you look down at it.
This was a dream that intuition fulfilled for Larry DeLucas, who was able to take the 8 minute and 40-second flight, going from the thrusters pushing the STS-50 mission for the Space Shuttle Columbia from ground zero into space.
Only an incredible few are lucky to be chosen to train to be an astronaut, and even fewer actually get the chance to be a space shuttle crew member.
Thankfully, intuition helped open the doors of opportunity that Larry was able to walk through so that he could take the ride of a lifetime and spend 14 days of bliss high above planet Earth.
