After interviewing over 1,000 people to ask them about how intuition had impacted their lives, the most common way that people described how intuition worked for them was through things called intuitive signals.
When I asked people to describe these signals, it was clear that no two people had the exact same set of intuitive signals.
This led me to the conclusion that each person has a unique set of signals that intuition sends them to help them make the right relationship decision.
This made complete sense to me because each person has a unique set of experiences that are going to be very different from any other person, and so the intuitive signals are also going to be unique.
What I also discovered is that your intuition is actually made up of four different types that come together to analyze the situation you are in.
Based on the decision you are about to make in that situation, these four types of intuition will either send you a positive or negative intuitive signal.
Positive intuitive signals are those that are telling you that the decision you are about to make in that situation is the right one.
Some of the more common positive signals have been described as feeling a sense of flow, hearing a voice or the dots connecting, and some of the more unique ones are seeing an omen, or even seeing a floating orb.
Trusting these positive signals will always result in decisions that move your life forward, or in some cases, like former NHL hockey coach Gary Green, they could actually save your life.
Negative intuitive signals act exactly opposite to positive intuitive signals in that they warn you when you are about to make the wrong decision in the relationship situation that you are in.
What is unique about negative intuitive signals is that they actually start very subtle in nature, and as you continue to ignore these subtle intuitive signals, they start to get louder and even change until you are no longer able to ignore them anymore.
But by the time you notice the louder intuitive signals, you would have made a series of bad decisions, putting you in a situation that you wished you could have avoided, just like it did for serial entrepreneur Marnie Kay who continued to ignore her negative intuitive signals while in a bad relationship that took a toll on her not just emotionally, but also financially.
The ultimate negative signal for her was actually hearing the words, “GET OUT!”, but by that time, she was financially devastated.
Now that you know that your intuition helps you make the right decision at the right in any situation you find yourself with either positive or negative intuition signals, then next question that I had to ask was “Why do you ignore them?“
